[ With the way people behave when there's a normal sized cat on top of them, he really isn't expecting Furuya to move.

Thank you, cat hair in his mouth is exactly what he needed for dinner. He looks kind of annoyed, as if he's dealing with Cat who decided to dig his talons into his shoulder, but that's something he's used to. For some reason Cat likes sitting on him. ]

Yeah, I can totally feel that.

[Whap. Cats can tell when they're annoying people, and apparently the size doesn't make any difference. The leopard does rearrange herself a little so she can get a better look at Shun, which means now Furuya is getting a paw in his face.

There's enough annoying cat to go around.]

You snood twy pedding her beck.

[He's sure the leopard is friendly but he's not brave enough to dislodge her paw just yet so this is what Shun gets.]

[ Oh god no, at least this animal better not try to sit on him, because that seems to be the go-to with Shun and animals. He's pretty sure that's not a thing cats don't do that often though, right? Please. Because Shun isn't going to be brave enough to shove a leopard off his shoulder when he can't even get a horned owl to get off him without getting talon marks. ] That's uh, yeah. [ Hesitantly reaches out to pet the back of the animal. There there. ]

[This is clearly agreeable to the cat, who curls up even more on Furuya. The paw is gone, at least, and he's able to slide out--carefully--until he's sitting up and the leopard is the only one on the couch. Shun, in the meantime, is getting a very serious request for ear scratches in the form of a head butting against his hand.]

See? She likes it.

[He reaches out to scratch between her shoulderblades but the leopard is all about the new guy.]

[ Jealous much? ]

Uh, sure. Maybe.

[ He's not used to pets, they can't keep any in the apartment he lives in, but he's keeping the puppy so he better get used to it. And he's kind of uncertain still (he doesn't want to lose a hand!), but he scratches one of the ears. That's what she wanted, right? ]

Did you run into her and just decided to keep her?

[Maybe a little, but on the other hand he's been around her all day. Shun is new.

The ear scratches are very much appreciated. The leopard leans into the touch, eyes closed. Happy cat.]

Yeah. She was by the school this morning and when I called to her she came right over. She was still there at lunch and when I left she followed me home.

[ That's a good reaction, right? Regular cats do that when they like it, don't they? But he's also aware that cats like to bite as if that's the height of feeling good.

So he's kind of tense and ready to pull back at any quick move. ]

Oh. Right. You think these ones will stay like the dogs or leave?

[staminaroll]

[All cats are bastards, it's true, but this one still seems to be pretty content, rubbing up on Shun's hand.]

I don't know. It doesn't seem to make any sense. My dog didn't stay, but Sawamura's chicken did, so maybe.

[ He'll... keep petting it then, still a bit wary. At least it's not the belly he's scratching, that would have been scary. ]

Yeah, my dog stayed too.

[ ... ]

Wait, what chicken?

[Not even Furuya's brave enough to consider belly scratches and he wants to keep this creature forever and name it Kuma.]

There was a cruise we all got put on and my room had a chicken, but Sawamura kept it. I think it was the only chicken.

[ It's not a bear, dumbass. But yeah, that's way too scary. ]

Uh. Okay? Why keep a chicken?

[staminaroll]

[Bears are great, though. Next best thing.

If he had a bear, he'd also name it Kuma. He is not a creative guy.]

I don't know. He does strange things all the time.

[ Wow, even Shun has a better naming sense and he's gonna consider naming his dog Potato. ]

He's one of those guys, huh. I know one of those. He's an idiot.

[Simple names are obviously the best.]

Sawamura's mostly just loud. Is yours loud too?

[ Yeah. At least the guy didn't name his chicken Lunch. Or did he? ]

Yeah, and annoying.

Yeah. But he's also really good. Was your [what do you call it when it's an idol... thing and not a team] groupmate at least good?

No, he's kind of mediocre. And sucks at dancing.

[ He takes any chance to badmouth Makki. ]

[staminaroll]

Oh. Why do you keep him around then? Is he getting better?

[Annoying and not talented. BYE.]

I guess the president has his reasons.

[ The president is a strange person. ]

You have a president?

Do you have a coach or is he your coach?

[syunsyun]

Yeah, the president of Noel Japan Agency. And he's not a coach. Besides, I guess Tesshi would be closer to that, but he's more our manager.

[staminaroll]

[Furuya's slowly aligning these roles with Seido's management in his head, and the cat is slowly relocating herself into Shun's lap. Hello there.]

Our managers don't really do that kind of thing, they're more there to support us. I guess it's different where you guys are already professionals, though.

[syunsyun]

[ ...He's stuck. There's a gigantic cat on his lap. ]

Uh. We're only kind-of pros, really.

[staminaroll]

[Could always try to move her... good luck. She's thumping her head on his shoulder, demanding attention.]

But it's not a school club, is it? So it's more than that.

[syunsyun]

No, we don't even go to the same schools.

[ Three of the others go to private schools, Shun goes to a public one. And the last one doesn't go to school at all. ]

We're hired, but we haven't debuted yet.
